Every time you send an e-mail, give it a specific subject header, e.g., “Inventory assignments.” When people reply, your header will be included and your archived e-mails will be easy to search. Vague headers like "question" or “have you” make it nearly impossible to find information when you want it.- 0 comments

If thinking of ideas for dinner every night is taking too much of your energy, try this: create a menu with 10 meals that you can rotate. Based on that menu, make a shopping list that covers all the ingredients you need. Once the initial planning is done, life gets a lot easier.- 0 comments

Let’s face it. It’s better for you—and for your kids—if they learn to pick up after themselves. But you can add a little bit of fun. Set a timer for 10 minutes while the kids hurry to put their toys, etc., away. Reward them if they finish before the timer goes off with a simple treat like a story or a cookie.- 0 comments

Today is Memorial Day. This holiday was originally founded after the Civil War to commemorate the deaths of Union soldiers. Today, it reaches out to honor all who have lost their lives in military service to their country. Do you have a war veteran in your family? Plan a special trip to decorate the tomb of a military hero, whether at a family gravesite or a public memorial. This could be a good day to start some family history research, too.
